Emmanuel Roussel, 42, aka Le Frog, started to write about horse racing in 1988 in Paris. From harness to thoroughbred racing, he covered every French racing event and quite a few around the World as a freelance journalist – Hong Kong being one of his favourite destinations, very much like most French trainers !

He used his experience to launch an English-speaking website about French racing in April 2009 and was recently appointed Head of International Dept at Equidia, the French Horse Racing Channel. He blames half of his genes for being a terrible tipster and the other half for loving the ponies – which makes his life pretty difficult actually.
