James Stafford has had over thirty years experience in racing. He spent 20 years as a racing journalist in the UK. first for Raceform then on the Sun, where he was the racing desk handicapper and tipster, and the Daily Express before setting up his current business in 1995 managing horses for racing syndicates under the Thurloe Thoroughbreds banner. He has been responsible for purchasing and managing the careers of top class horses including Kyllachy, Corrybrough and Baltic King. He has travelled to Hong Kong for 10 years to cover the International Races at Sha Tin and the International Jockeys Challenge at Happy Valley for the Hong Kong Jockey Club
