Events - Introduction

The annual Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Races are held each December. Top-class jockeys, trainers and horses gather in Hong Kong to compete in this magnificent event and enjoy the many activities and parties that are scheduled at Sha Tin Racecourse and around town during the preceding week. Huge crowds gather at Sha Tin Racecourse, whilst the event is also televised to a billion around the globe.
