Introduction

Join our "Hong Kong Pride Takes Flight!" online game now! From now till 6pm Monday, 7 December 2009, the first 5,000 registered players (as captains and passengers) will be given a CXHKIR Card Reader.

Player can enroll the game as either a flight passenger or as a captain. While both roles are entitled to compete for the CXHKIR Card Reader,only CAPTAINS GET THE CHANCE TO ENTER OUR LUCKY DRAW.

To earn this chance, each registered captain must fill his virtual plane with 20 virtual passengers. In other words they must ask 20 friends to join the game. Each filled plane equals one chance to enter the draw, 2 filled planes give you 2 chances, so on and so forth. (Number of lucky draw chances granted are note restricted.) Come board the plane now and win fabulous prizes!

How To Play
  1. The first 5,000 participants to enroll in the game as a Captain or a Passenger are eligible to a CXHKIR Card Reader on a first-come-first-served basis.
  2. Each virtual flight accommodates 20 virtual passengers. Each virtual Captain is entitled to 1 lucky draw chance for each fully-filled flight. The number of entries is not restricted.
  3. All players can set up their own flight and enroll as a Captain.
  4. Players are encouraged to promote their virtual flight to their friends via Facebook or Email.
  5. Winners must provide valid personal details (as appeared in their HKID cards) for prize collection.
  6. Only one CXHKIR Card Reader will be offered to each participant. (The participant must be one of the first 5,000 participants to enroll in the game)
  7. In addition, each participant can only get either the Grand prize or 2nd prize. (The participant must be the one of the winner of the lucky draw)
  8. Winners will be notified individually by SMS and email along with the details for prize collection.

Deadline for game entry is 7 December 2009
Winners will be announced on the HKJC website on 9 Dec, 2009.

Notification for prize collection
  1. Winners will be notified individually by SMS and email along with details for prize collection from 9 Dec to 11 Dec 2009.
  2. Winners should collect the prize at the designated counter at the Sha Tin Racecourse within the designated hours on 13 Dec, 2009 (Sunday). Otherwise, they will be disqualified.
  3. The Club will not be responsible for any problems arising from failure or delay during the SMS or email sending processes, No prizes will be granted for post-date collection.
  4. For other relevant information, please refer to the Terms and Conditions stipulated mentioned below.

Remarks: If there is any system interruption by external programs, to ensure fairness of the game, all affected participants will have their data restored to the original data before the interruption without prior notice. Please be reminded that any attempt to obtain prizes by dishonest means may constitute a criminal offence.

Terms and conditions

  1. All participants must be aged 18 or above and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card.
  2. The name used for registration must be the same as the name on the participant’s Hong Kong Identity Card. All winners must present their HKID card upon the prize redemption.
  3. The first 5,000 participants who registered as captain or passenger will be eligible to one CXHKIR Card Reader each.
  4. Grand prize and 2nd prize winners will be determined by draws.
  5. Each participant is entitled to win either the Grand prize or the 2nd prize only (The participant must be the one of the winner of the lucky draw).
  6. All winners will be notified individually by SMS and email along with details for prize collection from 9 to 11 December 2009. Winners who have provided incorrect email addresses and mobile phone number will be disqualified.
  7. Winners list and lucky draw results will be announced on the Hong Kong Jockey Club website www.hkjc.com 9 December 2009 (Wednesday).
  8. Result of the lucky draw will also be announced on 18 December 2009 (Friday) on Sing Tao Daily and SCMP.
  9. All the prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
  10. Winners must collect their prizes at the designated counter at the Sha Tin Racecourse within the designated time on 13 December 2009 (Sunday). Otherwise, they will be disqualified.
  11. No winners will be granted free admission to the Sha Tin Racecourse in order to redeem their prizes.
  12. The Hong Kong Jockey Club will not be responsible for any failures or delays during the email or SMS sending process. No prize will be granted for post-date collection.
  13. Staff of The Hong Kong Jockey Club and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  14. The Hong Kong Jockey Club is not the source supplier of any of the prizes to be awarded in the lucky draw. The use of all prizes by their winners is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by its provider; any dispute arising from the use of any of the prizes shall be resolved between the winner sand the source suppliers, for which The Hong Kong Jockey Club accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever.
  15. To the extent permitted by law, The Hong Kong Jockey Club does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, death or personal injury arising from or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any of the prizes.
  16. The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to cancel or amend the game and its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice upon approval from Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority.
  17. In cases of dispute, the decision of The Hong Kong Jockey Club shall be final.
  18. The Hong Kong Jockey Club reserves the right to use the recorded footages and photos of participants for promoting or marketing purposes.
  19. The Hong Kong Jockey Club and our network partners will use the personal data provided for direct marketing purposes. You may, at any time in writing to our Racing Marketing Department, request access and/or correct your personal data or choose not to receive further promotional materials from us.
